Story

Our Journey

Our Story

Muswenna Tea Factory established in 1999 in Galle district, for manufacturing best quality tea from finest tea leaf. Mainly doing orthodox Black tea, apart from that hand-made green tea and world-famous White tea are the other products which manufacturing in Muswenna Tea Factory.

The founder, Mr. R G Jinadasa is an experienced and distinguished tea planter who has over four decades of experience in tea industry starting as a tea inspector for the Sri Lanka Tea Board. he is competently assisted by Mr. R G M Malith young and talented director who is keen to face new challenges and go ahead with exciting opportunities.

Muswenna Tea Factory is ISO 22000, HACCP and GMP certified and has an annual production of approximately 400,000 Kg. Muswenna teas won many achievements in local tea auction as well as international competitions. Team Muswenna Always cares the quality and the taste of the tea.
